Slow down and reconnect with nature during a guided Forest Bathing experience at Camp Daggett on May 9th from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM.
Forest bathing is a gentle, mindful practice that invites you to slow your pace and engage your senses in the natural world. Unlike hiking or other outdoor activities, there’s no goal to reach, just an opportunity to relax, unplug, and be present. This guided experience blends quiet wandering with moments of rest, along with optional group gatherings and individual reflection time.
Led by Maureen Stine, a Certified Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs (ANFT), this experience is designed to help you feel grounded, refreshed, and connected to the outdoors.
Participants are encouraged to bring water, dress in warm Michigan layers, and wear comfortable outdoor footwear that may get wet from morning dew or seasonal conditions. You may also wish to bring a yoga mat, lightweight chair, or towel for optional seated moments throughout the experience. This program will take place rain or shine, including light rain.
The cost for this event is $25 per person and is for ages 15+ (minors must have an adult (18+) attend with them).
