Women of the Wilderness

Camp Daggett’s first annual Women of the Wilderness outdoor skills academy was a huge success. Even though the participant group was small, the impact of this event was felt by everyone present. Our primary goal for W.O.W. was to host a weekend of building confidence, camaraderie, and wilderness skills for women. It was evident that these goals were accomplished, but that wasn’t all: these women also built new lifelong memories and friendships.

And of course, this weekend would not have been possible without our exceptional instructors. Each one of them took this weekend to the next level by sharing their subject matter expertise and passions. We want to extend our gratitude to Jen Reynolds, Sarah Roche, Laurie McMurray, Sarah Mayhew, and Abby Meir for creating such a positive experience and sharing their wisdom with our women of the wilderness adventurers. Additionally, we want to give a special shout out to Dennis Cassidy for providing meals for the weekend.
