Volunteer at Camp Daggett

Camp Daggett depends on a community of volunteers to meet our mission and get more done for those we serve. Volunteers make it possible for our grounds, facilities, and equipment to be well cared for. They ensure fundraising events like our Annual Golf Benefit and Kayak for a Cause on Walloon Lake are a success. Our year-round and summer programs depend on volunteers to be safe and fun!

We receive an average of 9,500 volunteer hours per year!  We cannot thank these volunteers enough for their willingness and dedication to help Camp Daggett be what it is today. They exemplify  our slogan, “The Other Fellow First.”

How can YOU get involved?

You can volunteer at Camp Daggett in a variety of ways. We have individuals or families help out as well as companies and organizations plan service days to give back. Sometimes volunteers prefer a specific event, others like to help with a specific project, but often volunteers keep coming back to help make Camp Daggett a great place for the community. Keep in mind, some volunteer opportunities might have additional screening requirements.

Fundraising Event Volunteers | Help with our Annual Golf Benefit, Kayak for a Cause, and Wine Walk events. If you want to encourage more people to support Camp Daggett, get in touch with Julie Joles at (231) 374-9742 x118 or julie.joles@campdaggett.org

Maintenance and Facilities Volunteers | Keep everything working well and looking great year-round. You can jump into one of our scheduled workdays, take on a specific project, or just let us know what skills you have and we will find a project that fits you.
