Liz graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Family and Community Services. Her whole career has been centered around children and nonprofit work, including the YMCA where she directed Summer Day Camps, implemented new programs, and eventually become the Branch Director.

With strong northern Michigan ties, Liz grew up in Traverse City, married an East Jordan native, and enjoyed summer trips to visit family on Walloon Lake. She has been a resident of Petoskey since 2015 and has embedded herself into the community by participating in Leadership Little Traverse, Women Who Care in the Tip of the Mitt, Kiwanis, and Rotary, to name a few. She has most recently been employed by the McLaren Northern Michigan Foundation where she created & implemented a new program, learned a new database and fostered donor relationships. After leaving the YMCA, Liz dearly missed youth-focused work and is thrilled to join the team at Camp Daggett.

Liz has a great blend of experiences from the camp program delivery to back-office work with databases, finances, communications, and marketing. She has a great personality, understands the lasting impacts a camp can have on people, and is well liked throughout the community. She fits in well with the Camp Daggett culture, and we are excited to have her on our outstanding team.
