andy.hayes@campdaggett.org

Andy retired as President of the Northern Lakes Economic Alliance in 2020 and joined Camp Daggett as Executive Director on June 1, 2021. Throughout his career Andy served for 10 years with scout councils in West Virginia, Florida and Alabama. He moved back to Petoskey in 1987 to become the executive director for the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce, and eventually became the president of the Northern Lakes Economic Alliance, a position he held for 15 years before retiring. He attributes his love for camp from his years with the scout councils. Andy stated, “I have officially ‘flunked’ retirement. I am both excited and humbled to be part of such a great organization with a super staff and board of trustees. I have truly loved everything I’ve done throughout my career, and I’m equally excited about this move too.”

Mary Ling

Adventure Education Co-Director

Mary joined the Camp Daggett Adventure Center team in 2000. Her love for the outdoors and camp life started early – she was the Waterfront Director of a summer camp outside of Detroit in her early 20’s. Mary is passionate about incorporating Camp’s “Full Value Agreement” into the lives of the participants who attend Camp Daggett and experience the Adventure Center. Mary is also passionate about volunteering – she serves on the school board of the Public Schools of Petoskey as well as the Petoskey Education Foundation. When she’s not at camp or volunteering, she is usually outside having fun with her family or friends!
