19th Annual Golf Benefit
GOLFERS
The 19th Camp Daggett Golf Benefit took place June 8th, 2023, at the Walloon Lake Country Club. We had 92 golfers participate and the weather was perfect! A big thank you go out to Ron and Cathy Scriven for making this event possible for the past 19 years.
We also welcomed 157 supporters for dinner as well as the live and silent auctions. Thank you to Ralph and Patti Miesel and Laurie and Terry Marrs who work with us to pull this event together.
Thank you also to all of the wonderful staff at the Walloon Lake Country Club. They do a wonderful job of providing a great venue for this event, both on and off the course. These great folks include Harry Dixon, the General Manager; Mark Neill, Executive Chef, and the kitchen help, Jacob Wilhelm; the Club House Manager, Jason George; Head Golf Professional, Pete Kelbel, and his staff; and Director of Golf and Grounds Superintendent, Scott Pulaski.

Now is your chance to own a piece of that legacy! Whether you use it as a garden swing or front porch swing, this lift chair is a lovely nod at Nub’s Nobs’ awesome impact on Northern Michigan.

Item Donated by Great Lakes Center for the Arts and Bay Harbor Village Suites
Two tickets to four Great Lakes Center for the Arts events within the 2023 Summer and Fall Season; Two Complimentary Beverage Passes and one overnight stay in a Lodge Suite at Village Suites Bay Harbor.
Fund the Mission gifts assure that children have the opportunity to enjoy and learn from Camp Daggett programs and have quality and memorable experiences as well as ensure the safety of all who participate in programs by maintaining the facilities.
As we embark on our 100th anniversary in 2025, we remain strongly grounded in our Summer Camp roots while growing healthy new programming that allows us to meet the ever-evolving needs of youth in Northern Michigan.
Year-round offerings now include leadership and team building at our indoor and outdoor Adventure Center facility, lodge rental for teams, schools, corporate retreats and community groups, and events like Snowshoe outings, and Father-Son and Mother-Daughter weekends. As we round out our outreach and grow, one thing remains the same, and that is our commitment to providing meaningful experiences with an emphasis on cooperation, working as a team and remaining steadfast in our motto, “The Other Fellow First.”
Thank you for your contribution!
