Adventure Programs for Adults

A challenge course program at the Camp Daggett Adventure Center promotes feelings of accomplishment, self-worth, and a sense of community not often experienced in our everyday living. It is our hope that participants will leave their experience at the CDAC with a greater willingness to accept the opinions and ideas of others, share their own, appreciate the value all people have to offer, and participate in peaceful problem solving.
Adventure Program
A typical day at the Adventure Center runs from 9:00 to 3:00 p.m. From 9:00 to noon, we will be focused on:
- Icebreakers
- Group initiatives
- Problem solving activities
- Low ropes course work
Lunch will be from noon until 12:45. Your group can:
- Bring their own lunch
- Order lunch from a local establishment (options can be provided)
- Provide a catered lunch option
After lunch, we will be heading to the high ropes course, which allows individuals to confront the limits of their comfort zone and safely move beyond those limits with the mutual support and encouragement of the rest of the group.
To participate in CDAC programming, each individual will need the following:
- Release of Liability Form
- Casual clothing
- Athletic shoes (closed toe and no slip-ons)
Please download the Camp Daggett Adventure Center Information Packet for a necessary “to-do” list before your visit, directions to camp, and a copy of our Full Value Agreement.
